About Us

The Royal Oak ( Known as Sonny's locally) is the former farm house of the pubs name sake, Sonny White.

The pub is situated on the dairy farm, which is still operated today by his son. A proper country pub offering a good selection of local real ales and ciders.

The Royal Oak boasts a unique skittle alley which is in use most nights of the week. The pub prides itself on good value home cooked food using lots of local produce from local suppliers.

All staff are local people and help bring a warm and friendly welcome to the heart of the community and visitors. Beer festivals and cider festivals happen throughout the year celebrating some of Somerset's finest beer and cider producers.
